Led a team of 5 (freshmen through Master's level) through design process to prototype, manufacture, and test composite steering wheel for current generation of vehicle in compliance with ASC standards. Manufactured using water jet, 3D-printer, and carbon-fiber layup processing. Worked cross-functionally with Electrical Subteam to align custom PCB with steering cover and housing. Iterated and refined based on driver feedback and impact testing.
