As a lead engineer, I designed and developed an on-premise version of Enterprise Application Access(EAA) data POP which combines data path and data path management systems into a single easily distributable and scalable package. I made performance improvements to Akamai's Identity as a Service product which showed higher than 10x improvement in the cold and hot sync of Active Directory/OpenLDAP. I also led a team of developers, overseeing the design and development of the Akamai EAA platform.
As one of the founding engineers, I designed and implemented a significant portion of Soha Systems' platform and infrastructure. I built a config distribution service, for effectively synchronizing Nginx proxy configuration across thousands of servers. Developed a custom DSL for scripting Nginx proxy. Developed a system for capturing extensive model level audit information, without any noticeable end-user latency. All the platform features I have helped build, played a crucial role in Soha Systems' acquisition by Akamai.
I designed and developed a custom Knowledge Management System (KMS) leveraging existing eGain CRM components. This custom KMS was successfully integrated into the eGain CRM suite. I made several changes to the core data processing pipeline, which resulted in more than 5x performance improvement. I integrated several third party SOAP and REST web services into eGain CRM. I Designed and developed several REST endpoints for third party integration.
