SUEZ – Water Technologies & Solutions became Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions in September 2022. Led a global, multi-disciplinary R&D team that develops chemical products and solutions in applications such as deposit control, corrosion and phase separation for global and regional wastewater, oil & gas production, refining and metals & mining customers.
I led a team of researchers with expertise in advanced characterization techniques in microscopy & microstructural analysis, surface analysis, elemental analysis, separations and spectroscopy. The team works with materials scientists, metallurgists, chemists and engineering teams across GE in developing new materials and processes and failure analysis investigations.
Developed Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy substrates and methods for the detection of pathogens. Nano Lett., 2006, 6 (11), pp 2630–2636 Established ICP-MS facility and developed methods for the determination of the metalloproteome of a micro-organism. Nature 466, 779–782 (05 August 2010)
