Manage, coach, and develop members of the HR team to ensure quality of work is of the agreed standard. Keep under review all administrative processes and procedures, recommending changes and improvements as appropriate. Contribute to effective team working and ensure appropriate support is in place. Manage a comprehensive and proactive HR business partnering service across the firm. Partnering with business areas to drive the Firm strategy, understand business activities, implement people action plans and deliver Firm success. Providing partners and managers with information needed to inform and support decision making on retention, absence, performance management, engagement. Working with managers to identify succession planning.
Manage annual HR processes to include: Performance Development Review Employee Engagement Survey Practicing Certificate Renewals Promotions and Salary review process ensuring it is undertaken in an efficient and timely manner. Ensuring reviews are consistent across the firm and working towards minimising the firms Gender Pay Gap. Undertake annual reviews of the Firm’s benefit provision to not only ensure the firm remains competitive in the market but that our package meets the needs of our diverse workforce. To provide advice, guidance and support to HR team on all ER matters, including discipline, grievance, absent management, restructures and employment terminations. Directly managing more complex investigations. To ensuring the HR team manage HR matters reliably and in accordance with current legislation and firm policy. Partnering with line managers to review performance management. Training line managers on current employment legislation and future changes and policy updates.
• Act as the first point of contact for all internal and external HR related queries, using initiative and problem solving skills to resolve to a high standard and in a timely manner. Responsible for the day to day management and delivery of the resolution of queries posted to the HR Queries inbox so that our target service levels for timeliness and quality are achieved. • Administer all benefits, maternity, paternity, parental leave, flexible working, probation, season tickets and further education subsidy administration processes within the agreed timescales and to a high level of accuracy, ensuring all applicable legal requirements are adhered to. • Deliver the monthly payroll process for the UK, ensuring the payroll is processed accurately and on time, in accordance with team and company processes and controls. • Produce regular reports for all key stakeholders to a high standard of accuracy and presentation, when required. • Create and maintain employee records on the HR system throughout the employee lifecycle. Prepare letters for any formal or contractual employee changes. • Process purchase orders and requisitions • Contribute to HR improvement activities particularly around HR records, data, procedures and other administration. Peer review colleague’s work to ensure team quality standards are achieved and the risk of error is reduced. • Support the broader HR team with the participation or co-ordination of activities such as assessment centres, benefit fairs etc. • Act as contact point for any Benefits queries
