I am an intern at Arup! I am a pursuing a dual degree in Civil Engineering and Business at the University of Calgary. I am interested in transportation systems in urban cities to provide sustainable networks, and the development of infrastructure to enhance and support communities. With my double major in commerce, I bring a versatile and balanced perspective to issues and projects.
• Modelled infrastructure in RISA 3D and analyzed load combinations for structural performance • Supported early phase Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for 10% modelling by handling data entry and reviewing vendor documentation • Assisted in preparing project deliverables like Material Take-Off Orders (MTOs), Purchase Orders (POs) and Engineering Work Packages (EWPs) • Maintained project documentation, schedule dates, calculation and design logs, and filing for information management
• Cultivated skills in collaborating with diverse peers and examined research issues of transportation on the environment in urban areas • Practiced and developed further skills in data procurement and analysis using Python (Matplotlib, Sklearn, Pandas) • Analyzed quantitative data on pollutants in the atmosphere due to transit emissions
