• Perform complex searches in Chronicles over large datasets and analyze results in Excel to provide real-time updates on production issues and resolutions. • Build reporting tools in Hyperspace for operational and technical workflow requirements. • Consult on designs for new enhancements, ensuring new build aligns overall with the company’s future strategies for applications. • Build and test the system for new implementations and upgrades, keeping in mind custom development and unique build requirements. • Design policies and procedures for system maintenance and configuration, such as regular review and cleanup of unused system records. • Investigate system issues, identify root causes, and propose and implement solutions. • Facilitate and direct the Testing and Facility Structure workgroups by creating initiatives in line with Epic team needs and company-wide goals.
• Serve as key contact for customer leadership by handling issue escalations and providing regular updates on service level agreement metrics and progress towards initiatives. • Design internal and external process improvements. • Monitor service level agreements by analyzing metrics and creating monthly progress reports. • Communicate risk areas and propose potential solutions to leadership. • Provide proactive positive and constructive coaching to analysts. • 'Lead MyChart In Basket team in managing a customer’s handling of patient messages, including identifying process improvements in provider on boarding and off boarding. • Contribute to open encounters workgroup by conducting root cause analysis and providing Epic-recommended solutions for reducing the number of open encounters. • Build and test enhancement requests according to Epic best practices. • Create training tip sheets to improve end user knowledge and reduce incident ticket submission. • Investigate and efficiently resolve break-fix tickets in EpicCare Ambulatory, MyChart, and EpicCare Link.
• Provide direct quality care to three to five medical-surgical acute care patients including daily monitoring, recording, and evaluating of acute and chronic medical conditions. • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, pharmacists, and researchers to plan, implement, and evaluate quality improvement projects regarding ambulation, patient education, and electrolyte supplementation. • Contribute to nursing-led unit decisions through membership in Unit Based Practice Council. • Collaborate each shift with four to six nurses and two to three nursing assistants to provide quality medical care to all patients on the unit. • Commended by supervisors and coworkers for positive work-attitude and exemplary work on unit quality improvement projects.
