A remarkable place to work - As HR Adviser I provide an in-house recruitment service for The University of Sheffield to attract high calibre candidates globally. Providing a comprehensive, inclusive and forward-thinking recruitment service, I contribute to the delivery of a positive candidate experience throughout all stages of the recruitment process from attraction and selection through to onboarding. I am a CIPD Level 7 qualified HR professional and have specialised in recruitment in the Higher Education sector for the past 15 years.
Employed by Sheffield Hallam University as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate to conduct a 2 year project to establish a HR Function within the company, an SME employing 250 people. Also to enhance research into HR practices within Food Manufacturing SMEs. Following the project was employed by the Bakery. Would recommend the KTP scheme as company and academic partners were very supportive and provided excellent experiences.
