Hi, I’m Sarah - LGBTQIA+ Wellbeing and Inclusion Coach, and Founder of Proud Wellness CIC. I bring over 25 years’ experience in senior HR and leadership roles across major UK organisations, alongside my work in coaching, training and inclusion. Eight years ago I launched a coaching and training business focused on LGBTQIA+ wellbeing and inclusion, and began building a growing community of practitioners committed to delivering affirming, accessible mental health and wellness support. That work evolved into Proud Wellness CIC, a non-profit social enterprise dedicated to ensuring LGBTQIA+ people can access safe, inclusive and affirming wellbeing services without fear of discrimination. Since launching in April 2023, we’ve grown a practitioner directory of 100+ verified LGBTQIA+ inclusive professionals, delivered workplace inclusion training, and run wellness workshops and retreat days for LGBTQIA+ communities across the UK. There is still so much to do, and I’m always excited to connect with people and organisations committed to meaningful change. If you’re LGBTQIA+ or an ally working in wellness, you can explore our directory here: www.proudwellness.com/directory If you’re an organisation looking to build more inclusive workplace wellbeing and culture, feel free to message me or contact us at [email protected].
Proud Wellness is on a mission to advance equality and inclusion in wellness services for LGBTQ+ people and wellness professionals. We believe that all wellness services should be LGBTQ+ inclusive, affirming, and accessible and that work and learning environments must provide equal opportunity for LGBTQ+ wellness professionals to succeed and thrive. To achieve this mission, Proud Wellness utilises the expertise of its Proud Wellness Partners to inform, educate and provide resources to both LGBTQ+ individuals seeking support and businesses who want to improve the wellness services and products they offer to LGBTQ+ people.
Hey I'm Sarah and I'm so glad you're here reading this... Because it probably means you’re ready to make a bigger difference in the world and change things up in your life so that you feel more purposeful, inspired, and fulfilled. If you’re LGBTQ+ and you’re struggling to step fully into your authentic truth, live your purpose and make the impact you know you’re here to make, then I can help. I’m here to support you to feel aligned, energised, and inspired about your future. The LGBTQ+ people I help are often struggling to show up authentically and make the impact they desire in their life, workplace or business. I’ve worked with entrepreneurs and business owners as well as leaders from large corporate organisations. Here's what a couple of my clients say about working with me: "As a late-in-life lesbian as I was struggling with identity and figuring out who I was, where I came from, how I got here, and why. I didn’t feel able to express my truth until this later period in my life and I was experiencing a lot of internalised homophobia. Sarah helped me to quickly gain a better understanding by uncovering the blocks and limiting beliefs I was holding on to. Instead of just kind of showing up and ticking the boxes, Sarah helped me to expand my idea of who I am and how I can show up in this world by aligning with my authentic self. " - AMANDA, LONDON "I had completely lost the joy in life. I was caught up in a career that was taking me further and further away from being me; in addition, extensive travel also took me away from my wife/life. Working with Sarah enabled me to tap into my creativity again, which has in turn driven the focus back to the core of me. Things have started to flow to me without effort! There's a fabulous future for me to engage in and I am absolutely worth living my best life possible I now know how to combine work-life, photography, writing a book, and building my non-executive career; all from my purpose!" - ANNEMIEKE, UK
