Sarah is a graduate from the University of Toronto, where she has received the President’s Scholar of Excellence Award, and specializes in Jazz Performance. She graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Jazz Trumpet). Sarah has studied and performed diverse repertoire in the styles of jazz, latin, funk, and classical. She has been very fortunate to work with world class musicians, including Bria Skonberg, Harold Mabern, Christine Jensen, Wynton Marsalis, Jens Lindemann, Sean Jones, Dee Daniels, Darmon Meader, and many others. She has been in many honour groups in a range of genres, including the Honour Jazz Band at the 2019 British Columbia Music Educators Association conference, the National Youth Band of Canada, the Denis Wick Canadian Wind Orchestra as part of Musicfest Canada in 2019, 2020, and 2021, and the Sean Jones Cornerstone Jazz Orchestra, through Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse. She held the position of Principal Trumpet in the Okanagan Symphony Youth Orchestra from 2017 to 2020, and was the trumpet soloist of the Okanagan Irish Society in 2018 and 2019.

Recognize all opportunities where you can provide exemplary patron service to all customers and clients using the services of the TELUS Centre. Coordinate Front of House functions such as patron seating, program distribution, lobby displays, and upkeep. Direct and manage patron-traffic to maintain safe and effective flow in all public areas. Troubleshoot and resolve patron dissatisfaction in an efficient, professional, and engaging manner. Remain current and up-to-date with all Health and Safety Procedures, Emergency, Preparedness, Fire Safety and issues of Accessibility. Maintain a current knowledge of events and services available in and around the Centre to be able to expertly respond to patron and client inquiries.
