I oversaw and led long term planning and implementation of the development, fabrication, installation, and improvement of Cincinnati Museum Center's 22-gallery permanent exhibits program. • Evaluated, developed, and led CMC’s exhibits work plan, analyzing and adjusting to account for available resources and institutional goals. • Facilitated and managed multiyear exhibit production schedules, offering intervention, assistance, and adjustments to workflows to ensure completion of galleries on time, on budget, and in alignment with Cincinnati Museum Center’s mission and its brand and quality standards. • Guided internal exhibit development work teams, and negotiated and managed agreements with other museums, external exhibit designers, contractors, and vendors. • Established exhibits' project scopes, roles, budgets, schedules, and resources. • Initiated and orchestrated formative exhibits planning. • Established and reinforced design, development, and production quality standards for Cincinnati Museum Center's exhibits design and fabrication projects. • Acted as a spokesperson to communicate Cincinnati Museum Center's exhibits project goals and progress to stakeholders, staff, and administrative leadership.
Developed and oversaw production and management of touring and contract exhibits projects at CMC. • Evaluated potential exhibits projects relative to CMC's mission and CMC Exhibits's budget relief goals. • Developed CMC Exhibits's long term work plan, analyzing and adjusting to account for available resources, altered schedules, and changes to institutional and departmental priorities. • Led and project managed multidisciplinary teams engaged in completion of large scale touring and design-build exhibits projects. Created and administered project agreements, estimates, and schedules. • Assessed best practices for potential design and fabrication projects, based on intramural and extramural precedents. • Acted as primary sales and project development lead for prospective clients looking to host, develop, and tour traveling exhibitions.
Established and managed relationships between Cincinnati Museum Center's Department of Exhibits and external clients and partners. • Increased gross revenue from traveling exhibits and external exhibits projects by three times the targeted goal from Fiscal Year 2014 to Fiscal Year 2015, with additional increases projected to exceed original targets for Fiscal Years 2016 and 2017. • Developed and project managed completion of two new touring exhibitions, eight new permanent exhibits, and two temporary exhibitions. • Implemented new departmental standards for Exhibits project development, planning, and assessment. • Oversaw five interns and two volunteers on the identification, cataloging, and ongoing digitization of 20 years of Exhibits assets. • Promoted design and fabrication capabilities of the Exhibits Department at meetings, conventions, and through professional networks and contacts.
