Growing up, I wasn’t the most studious student, yet I always carried a strong desire to make the world a better place, becoming a doctor. In secondary school, I realised I struggled with working under pressure and communicating confidently. That period became a turning point. My journey continued at Temasek Polytechnic, where I pursued a Diploma in Chemical Engineering with an elective in Pharmaceutical and Biologics Process Technology. This foundation deepened my interest in science and innovation, particularly in areas that create real-world healthcare impact. Now, as a Biological Sciences student at Nanyang Technological University, I am driven to contribute meaningfully to research, proving that impact can happen both at the front lines and behind the scenes.
