Experience: - working in an inner city comprehensive with a cohort of over 2000 pupils. - working with Gifted and Talented pupils - teaching a range of ages and abilities - SEN, A Level, GCSE, target groups - budgets/ decision making/ intervention strategies/ forward planning Goals: - continue working with young people with challeging backgrounds, pushing them to do the best they can - to help young people make successful decisions about their future Specialties: I am currently an English teacher in Birmingham. I teach all levels in Secondary Education - KS3, 4 and 5. I specialise in working with Gifted and Talented pupils - analysing their performance, planning activities to broaden their experiences and trying to raise their aspirations. I have also worked as the Lead Coordinator for the North Area Gifted and Talented Network. I handle the budget, and maintain an Action Plan of activities for pupils and staff development.
