As a Supply Chain Account Manager at CDP North America, I help leading companies measure and manage the environmental impacts, risks, and opportunities that lie in their supply chain. I manage a subset of the 280+ members of the CDP Supply Chain program and support them in the process of engaging their suppliers on environmental issues through CDP disclosure.
The Initiative for Compliance and Sustainability is a multisectoral initiative created in 1998 by the French Fédération du Commerce et de la Distribution (FCD). The initiative brings together 50 retailers and brands committed to sustainably improving social and environmental working conditions in their supply chains. My responsibilities at the ICS included: - Coordinating social and environmental audit planning, liaising with ICS members and authorized audit companies, reviewing audit reports. - Updating the ICS database of factories. - Monitoring news on topics relevant to ICS activities and preparing the weekly newsletter. - Contributing to projects focused on working conditions in the context of COVID-19. - Conducting benchmarks against other standards.
Ma Bonne Etoile (better known as Squiz) is a certified B Corporation based in France which offers reusable products, including refillable food pouches, snack bags, and bento boxes, to prevent waste from single-use food packaging. Squiz has the highest B Impact Score in France and is a Best for the World honoree (https://bcorporation.eu/directory/squiz). I assisted the co-founders with the company's B Corp recertification by conducting research and aggregating information internally. I also organized a training session about B Corp and the B Impact Assessment for company employees. In addition to my internal work, I had the opportunity to be active in the French B Corp community (including through the Climate and Waste Reduction working groups), and participated in the pilot version of the French B Leaders training program.
Through the Sciences Po "Projet Collectif" program, I worked with four other graduate students on a joint project with the Carrefour Corporate Foundation and the RESOLIS Association: - Conducted interviews with non-profits and companies combatting food waste through value-added food processing. - Drafted a report highlighting opportunities for growth and collaboration in the unique sector of value-added processing of unsold food.
As an Integrated Management Research Fellow, selected by the Marcel Desautels Institute for Integrated Management (MDIIM), I worked as a research assistant to Dr. Paola Perez-Aleman on the topics of access to finance for smallholder farmers in developing countries and sustainability in global agricultural commodity chains.
Graded exams and papers for the following courses: - Finance 1 (Prof. Vadim di Pietro) - Business-Government Relations (Prof. Paola Perez-Aleman)
