Throughout my 12 years of formal education, I only had one goal. I wanted to be a teacher. At 8, I saw how my flute teacher could go to Universal Studios every other day. I thought to myself “This is so cool! If only I could have a life like that”, and so I wanted to be a flute teacher. At 16, I fell in love with History. At the same time, I was inspired by my History teacher who worked tirelessly to give us extra consultations and mark the extra work we did. Even those of us who were never at consultations were at hers. I thought to myself “This dedication is admirable, I want to inspire lives too”, and so I wanted to be a History teacher. Nothing really worked out exactly how I wanted it to. At 15, I gave flute lessons to an 8 year-old, but her parents wanted her to focus on dance and stopped her lessons. At 17, I started teaching music theory to another 8 year-old. It wasn’t the flute, but it was successful. She completed her grading examinations. At 19, I took up a teaching internship in a primary school. I was teaching many subjects but History, but it was fun. Entering university was an eye-opener. It broadened my worldview and showed me how much there was for me to explore. Now, I seek to contribute to the betterment of lives in any possible way, no matter whose.

Led two distinct classes of both around 24 children each. Guided students with homework of all subjects.
