I’m a Portuguese, UK-based Writer, Director, Animator and Creative with 25+ years of experience in the Animation Industry. I have worked with world-renowned brands such as Wallace and Gromit, Creature Comforts, Shaun the Sheep, Morph, Moominvalley and Legends of Evergreen Hills and have written and directed award-winning short films. I have recently founded Miaowito Animation and we are open to collaborations.
I am the founder, CEO and Creative Director of Miaowito Animation. I've been writing pilots, scripts, developing animation bibles and giving creative direction on series for broadcast for international partners. I have long form projects in development and pre-production.
Episodic Director on Legends of Evergreen Hills, a CGI long-form series. I creatively oversaw three 22 minute episodes for Giant and Bento Box Atlanta. I was responsible for overseeing Story, Edit, Layout and Animation.
I helped the 'Animation Studies 1 + 2', ‘Animation Practitioner 2’, ‘Animation Practitioner 2’ and 'Ideas, Story and Design' Module Leaders - delivering specialist lectures and tutorials. This was a freelance and part-time position.
I was part of the team of writers devising and writing scripts for "Stan Can", a new pre-school series produced by Mackinnon and Saunders and BBC Studios. The series was an adaptation of William Bee's award-winning collection of picture books - "Stanley".
