- The dissertation was centred on light-driven halide oxidation by transition metal complexes. To improve storage possibilities of solar energy, focus was placed on strategies to use light driven reactions to form chemical bonds and eventually solar fuels. - Focus on photophysical, photochemical, spectroscopy and electrochemical techniques. - Projects involved various types of data analysis and computer modelling.
The project involved laser techniques to study electronic structures of molecules and in particular applications of two-photon absorption spectroscopy.
Manager of research project at BoMill, a company that works within quality sorting of cereals using single kernel sorting technology. The project involved the development of applications of near infrared spectrometer techniques to identify Fusarium, a fungal infection that occurs in cereals, by investigating possible connections between the spectra of wheat kernels, their protein levels and their infection level.
