Built and led India-based global accounting operations supporting US leadership across multi-entity, multi-currency environments. Established and enforced a standardized global close calendar, driving disciplined execution, accountability, and on‑time close across all legal entities. Owned close governance, consolidation/eliminations, intercompany accounting, revaluation, and balance sheet reviews under US GAAP/IFRS. Treasury leadership: executed and accounted for cash flow and economic hedges across major currencies; performed MTM, settlements, and effectiveness testing. Prepared global cash flow forecasts, FX gain/loss analytics, and interest/other income schedules; monitored interest rate swaps and debt facilities. Led debt covenant compliance workings and supported lender reporting packs. Primary India controllership partner for US GAAP audits and SOX—coordinated with Big 4 auditors, drove control remediation and documentation quality.
