Berlin, Berlin, Germany
Construction Project Manager with 9+ years of experience delivering large-scale construction, rehabilitation, and infrastructure projects for public and private clients, including railway organizations such as SNCF. I specialize in railway and transport infrastructure, with strong expertise in project owner representation, contract negotiation and management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination. At SNCF Gares & Connexions, I led for four years the design and execution of railway station projects in Île-de-France, covering station buildings, platforms, shelters, and forecourts. My work included complex heritage renovation projects involving structural works, façades, roofing, electrical systems, HVAC, energy-efficient upgrades, and public-space improvements. As a Contract Manager supporting SNCF Réseau, I managed contracts for major railway infrastructure works such as bridges, tunnels, grade separations, noise barriers, catenary systems, and signaling projects, ensuring compliance, quality, and delivery within schedule and budget. Currently based in Berlin, I am further developing my international profile through intensive German language training. I reached B2 level and am currently completing C1 studies, while strengthening my understanding of German professional and cultural environments. Native Spanish speaker, fluent in French, English, and Portuguese, and progressing in German, I enjoy working in international and multicultural teams and contributing to infrastructure projects that improve mobility, support territorial development, and integrate sustainable and environmentally responsible solutions.
Professional Development – Intensive German Language Training Berlin, Germany Career development period in Berlin focused on intensive German language training and professional integration. Achieved B1 level in German and currently completing B2 intensive courses, with C1 studies scheduled next. Strengthened intercultural communication skills and gained familiarity with German workplace culture in an international environment.
Contract Management for Railway Infrastructure Projects Mission focused on managing construction contracts for infrastructure development and renewal projects, including the construction, maintenance, and modernization of railway tracks, stations, and related facilities. Projects covered a wide range of railway assets such as civil engineering structures (railway bridges, grade separations, underpasses, noise barriers, jet grouting), as well as overhead lines (catenary systems), signaling, and telecommunications. Key Responsibilities: Full Contract Lifecycle Management: Led the end-to-end management of railway-specific contracts, from negotiation through execution, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal requirements. Railway Technical Expertise: Applied deep knowledge of railway standards and technical specifications in drafting and negotiating contracts, ensuring operational quality and safety. Stakeholder & Partner Negotiation: Conducted complex negotiations with industry stakeholders, including construction firms and other key partners. Railway Risk Assessment & Management: Identified and mitigated railway-specific risks, particularly those related to safety, regulatory compliance, and operational constraints. Process Optimization: Implemented continuous improvement initiatives tailored to the railway sector to enhance operational efficiency and procurement performance.
Project Manager – SNCF Gares & Connexions (Direction des Gares d’Île-de-France – Asset Operations Department) Led and managed a portfolio of station renovation and compliance projects as representative of the project owner (MOA – Project Owner). Oversaw a €5M annual investment program over 4 years, coordinating projects from programming to design and execution across civil works, utilities, station buildings, and commercial asset enhancement. Key achievements: . Civil Engineering Structures (with SNCF Réseau – national rail infrastructure manager): renovation of platform shelters, underground passages (ramps & stairs), pedestrian bridges, tunnel smoke extraction systems (ducts, motors, electrical panels – basic HVAC knowledge), and refurbishment of steel frameworks and glazed roofs. . Utilities & Infrastructure: station forecourt development, compliance and creation of water supply, wastewater, rainwater and fire protection networks; platform surfacing works; HVAC networks; photovoltaic panel installation; electrical and fire safety systems; coordination with utility providers. . Station Buildings: demolition and fit-out of technical and public-access areas, roofing and waterproofing, façades restoration, window replacement, structural refurbishment of multi-storey car parks. . Asset Value Enhancement: rollout of retail and service equipment in stations, creation of leasable shell spaces for future tenants. Additional expertise: . Knowledge of asbestos and lead removal procedures. . Risk management related to railway operations and electrical networks. . Integration of environmental considerations (energy, materials, carbon, climate, biodiversity) into infrastructure projects.
As part of the Construction Division, I managed both social and private housing projects, as well as urban development operations. Led housing and mixed-use projects (up to 174 units, underground parking, and urban infrastructure). Delivered sustainable housing projects certified with French environmental and quality labels (NF Habitat HQE, BDM Gold, E+C-). Coordinated design and execution phases with municipalities, architects, and engineering teams. Oversaw construction works from earthworks to final handover (up to 11,500 m² GFA). Contributed to urban development studies and architectural programming, including city centre revitalisation and institutional projects. Managed land transfer and closure processes in coordination with local authorities.
Part of the New Construction Division – Project Owner Representative (MOA) During my work-study program, I contributed as a full-time employee to multiple social housing and urban development projects in Paris, while completing my Master’s degree. Projects included new construction, refurbishment, and demolition (up to 84 units). Supported all project phases, from feasibility and concept design to detailed design and construction documentation, ensuring alignment with budgets, regulations, and stakeholder requirements. Prepared tender documents for services such as asbestos and lead surveys, soil remediation, surveying, utility connection studies, and architectural feasibility assessments. Assisted with financial planning and contract management, including negotiations with contractors under formal procurement procedures (Competitive Dialogue and Negotiated Procedure). Coordinated with tenants, local residents, municipal authorities, architects, and engineering teams, including managing public consultations and “Project House” activities. Oversaw site works, project handovers, and compliance with environmental and social standards. Contributed to urban studies and redevelopment initiatives within planned urban development zones (French “ZAC” – coordinated urban projects with public consultation), including Paris Rive Gauche and Entrepôt Macdonald. Managed and supported major urban development projects in Paris, including "Tour de la Biodiversité – Lot M6B2", Paris Rive Gauche, collaborating with Maison Édouard François architects on design, planning, and delivery phases. and "Lot B1A4" designed by Tania Concko Architects.
Conducted a comprehensive social housing supply and demand study commissioned by the City of Arras, to assess local housing needs. Performed statistical analysis of housing data from national databases (SNE, RPLS, INSEE, FILOCOM). Produced maps and spatial visualizations using GIS software, technical drawings with AutoCAD, and graphic presentations with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to communicate findings. Conducted semi-structured interviews with local stakeholders, including municipal representatives and social housing actors. Presented the final report and recommendations to elected officials and housing authorities.
