I’m an IT leader with deep hands-on experience who helps organizations stabilize operations, reduce risk, and modernize infrastructure without disrupting the business. I’m often brought in when environments have grown organically, documentation is lacking, or risk and performance issues are starting to surface. My approach is pragmatic and structured: establish a clear baseline, standardize core processes (onboarding/offboarding, patching, access control, backup/DR), and automate repeatable work where it adds reliability and scale. I focus on accountability, clean documentation, and measurable progress rather than quick fixes. My background spans Microsoft 365 and identity, endpoint management, virtualization, and network/firewall design, with a strong emphasis on segmentation and risk reduction. I’m comfortable translating technical issues into business impact for non-technical stakeholders and making decisions that hold up over time. If you’re looking for someone who can both lead and execute — and leave the environment more stable, secure, and easier to support — I’m open to the right conversations.
Own IT operations, security posture, and infrastructure modernization in a high-availability legal environment. Lead day-to-day IT operations: endpoint support, identity/access, M365 administration, and vendor coordination. Stabilize and modernize network infrastructure through phased segmentation (VLANs/subnets), DHCP/DNS restructuring, and switch refresh planning. Standardize onboarding/offboarding workflows; improve reliability and reduce manual effort with PowerShell automation and repeatable runbooks. Drive security improvements: endpoint protection validation, hardening priorities, and incident-response readiness (process + documentation). Improve visibility and accountability through ticket ownership, written status updates, and weekly execution cadence. Coordinate backup/DR strategy and vendor evaluations to reduce restoration time and MSP dependency. Produce network and systems documentation (Visio/topology, IP plan, port maps, change log) to eliminate tribal knowledge and de-risk upgrades.
Manage IT delivery and infrastructure modernization in a PCI-regulated environment, with hands-on ownership of core systems and security improvements. Led SAN upgrade/refresh and validated storage performance/availability for VMware workloads. Upgraded core switching/uplinks to 10Gb to remove bottlenecks and improve virtualization/storage traffic performance. Delivered Dell server refresh to improve reliability, lifecycle posture, and capacity for production systems. Implemented Mimecast email security largely hands-on with Mimecast Support (policy configuration, verification/testing, rollout, and admin documentation). Met with Black Talon Services to review security posture and align hardening/remediation priorities with operational requirements. Built and maintained SOPs/runbooks and documentation to reduce escalations and improve supportability.
Owned infrastructure, systems administration, and end-user computing across corporate and operational environments. Managed Windows Server/Active Directory, core network services (DNS/DHCP), and endpoint support at scale. Led virtualization operations (VMware/Hyper-V) and ensured uptime via monitoring, maintenance windows, and disciplined change control. Implemented standardized imaging/onboarding processes to reduce provisioning time and improve consistency. Improved security baseline via least-privilege improvements, patching cadence, and endpoint protection practices. Delivered reliable remote access and support workflows for distributed users and business-critical systems. Maintained vendor relationships and supported budgeting/planning for infrastructure upgrades and lifecycle refresh.
Supported Windows systems, endpoints, and business applications; focused on reliability and fast issue resolution. Administered Windows Server/AD user and computer management, file/print services, and basic network services. Diagnosed and resolved workstation/server issues; reduced repeat incidents through root-cause fixes and documentation. Managed backups, updates, and routine maintenance to improve system stability and recovery readiness. Supported line-of-business applications and worked directly with users to restore productivity quickly.
Built and ran IT operations end-to-end, supporting infrastructure, systems, and user productivity over long-term growth. Owned IT operations: infrastructure, endpoint fleet, identity/access, and vendor relationships. Planned and executed upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime through structured rollout plans. Built support processes, documentation, and standards that improved consistency and reduced operational risk. Delivered systems administration and troubleshooting across servers, networks, and business applications.
