I started my journey with Decathlon Tagore Garden (Delhi) in July 2022 as an Omni Sports Leader, not knowing that retail would become more than just a career — it would become my sport. Over the next 3 years, I learned what it truly means to own a business — from customer conversations to planograms, from stock gaps to team wins. Every day on the store floor was a new lesson in people, performance, and persistence. In 2025, I took the next leap as a Department Manager (Coach) at Decathlon Jaipur – Ajmer Road, now managing multi-cluster operations across Team Sports, Racket Sports & Water Sports. My team of 8+ talented sport leaders are my biggest asset — together, we build experiences, not just sales. I focus on: • Training and developing new joiners into future leaders • Driving merchandising & stock excellence to enhance sell-through • Balancing passion & performance to achieve growth with purpose I call myself a Retail Athlete because every day in retail is a match — 🎯 You plan. 🏋️ You perform. 🔁 You reset. Stepping into this role marks an exciting milestone in my journey with Decathlon. As a Department Manager, I am responsible for: •Leading a high-performing team to drive business growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. •Strategically managing the entire department P&L, stock flow, layout execution, and merchandising. •Hiring, training, and coaching teammates to become autonomous and entrepreneurial sport leaders. •Creating unforgettable experiences for sport users while developing my sport ecosystem. •Ensuring safety, sustainability, and compliance in all daily operations. •Collaborating across departments to build strong inter-team synergy and community sport projects. This role empowers me to blend my passion for sport, leadership, and customer-centric retail into real impact.
