Knowledge of process design techniques such as P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), process flow diagrams (PFD), and other engineering design tools. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Project Management: Ability to manage projects, including coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets. Experience with process validation and scale-up activities. Industry-Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, GMP for pharmaceuticals, or ISO certifications for manufacturing). 4. Common Tools & Software: Control Systems: SCADA, PLC, DCS systems. CAD Tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks (for designing and optimizing plant layouts and equipment).
