Built and deployed an event-driven integration layer connecting 30,000+ IoT devices to 15+ partner Video Management Systems (VMS) over MQTT and HTTPS, sustaining sub-second latency for life-safety alerts such as gunshot detection. Owned VMS integrations end-to-end in customer environments and authored the integration architecture spec adopted as the standard for all new deployments; onboarded and mentored 2 engineers. Developed Triton Insights, a cloud-native analytics backend on AWS in Python/Django, ingesting high-throughput real-time telemetry from a fleet of 30,000+ edge devices.
Engineered a full-stack internal automation tool using React, C#, .NET, and SQL to synchronize engineering workflows between GitLab and TFS; significantly reduced manual overhead by automating the linking of code commits to project requirements.
A semester-long seminar which delves into the profound impact science and technology has on economic development. Sessions alternate between discussions and readings, followed by a specific real world case study. Explores the evolution of industries, innovation ecosystems, and governance structures, considering case studies from the United States, India, and Singapore, including the role of land grant university systems. The seminar continuously engage with real world content (news, company updates, public and private investor websites) to understand how science and technology have impacted the US and global economy.
- Led the development of a 3D Virtual Tour for the Pennsylvania Children’s Advocacy Center utilizing the 3D vista software (https://penncac.org/virtual-tour/explore/) - Presented project demos to clients to showcase progress functionality, and gather feedback for iterative improvement - Contributed in the development of the high-budget PA Auditor General website, working closely with senior developer, Joe Barry, to build the platform from the ground up (https://www.paauditor.gov/) - Independently developed the JPL 360 Tour Plugin that automates the process of uploading 3D tours to websites without FTP access, providing a seamless experience for managing virtual tours & saving development time. Plugin was adopted by company for use on other projects - Dedicated 50% of work hours working on multiple client projects simultaneously meeting strict budgets and timelines for software launches - Actively participated in over 100 client and daily SCRUM meetings to ensure alignment and timely project delivery
- Provided group and one-on-one tutoring to approx. 40 students for introductory scientific programing course in Python - Graded assignments and provided detailed feedback to students to help them improve their coding skills and understanding of course concepts.
