I enjoy the various aspects of the professional activities that surround instrument and system development: pushing available techniques to their limits and beyond, finding new technical solutions, discussing matters with the external clients and guiding the project team towards a successful finish. I enjoy finding things out, the work with sophisticated optical and technical equipment, cooperation with the different people involved. I am open for change, enjoy learning new things and to share my findings with the team. Additionally, I have an eye for the weak spots in systems and for the things that can be improved. Good ideas come to my mind through intensive work and focus on a particular problem. I appreciate good team work. Sharing thoughts and ideas with other people is important for an efficient working atmosphere and helps achieving one’s aims. At the same time I expect my team members to show motivated working attitude, commitment to the project aims, both technically and commercially.
