OBJECTIVE My primary field of interest is Oil and Gas onshore facilities MAINTENANCE and CAPEX Project Control engineer (planning and control); based on my 25 years experiences of managing projects (i.e. Planning & Scheduling, Budgeting, Cost Engineering, Benchmarking, Risk Management, Reporting, supervising) and quantity survey for Major and Portfolio project from multinational oil and gas brown field and onshore areas with strong SAP PM, MM & CO; MS project background skills with Middle-East project control experiences (involving: develop Iraqi staff through training and mentoring in project control tools and techniques) Specialties - Maintenance related cost and technical performance control - Project management procedures - Organizational supervision - Procurement management - Development of system supporting procedures (especially in SAP) SAP PM MM, SAP CO, PRIMAVERA, MS Project and Microsoft Offices. The Project Control engineer works under the direction of NEOM Green Hydrogen Project Change Manager to support the Project Control needs of all Change Requests (CRs) with high complexity, by providing efficient control of performance, cost and schedule to prepare the necessary change management supporting documents. Developing and maintaining change management project control programs / systems for cost and performance analysis and tracking with strong SAP and Primavera P6 background skills. Active participation on project Change Request (CR) planning, execution and closing process. Determine tools necessary to meet budget and project forecast goals Develop Change Management Plans, schedules and process workflow regarding NEOM Green Hydrogen Project, and understand and implement the needs of specific project scope changing tasks, related system requirements (Primavera P6, SAP), cost and performance control elements. Contributing in resource and cost loaded processes into database, aligned with Job changing Scope estimates Leading and supporting Change management meetings and discussions with Project Managers, Lead engineers, Customers, End users in order to be provided all the necessary supporting data for registering and tracking of Extra work, Change Request (CR) and Change Order (CO) Claims. Perform appropriate Change Control and Risk Management procedures Reconciliation of Change Request / Change Log files / Approved Change Database / Change Orders and Main Contractors cost and performance data in relation to scope changing activities. Participate actively on daily/weekly organized change management calls with site team. Ensure all change request (CR) hours, costs, performances, purchase orders, SAP activity, Area and Unit codes are correctly allocated to the relevant data systems and reconciled to site data as part of change management process.
Lead Project Control Advisor Role Summary: The Project Controls Advisor works under the direction of the Regional Project Controls Manager to support the Project Controls needs of plant outage projects (GE Power Segment) with high complexity, by interpreting performance, costs and schedules to prepare budgets. The Project Controls Advisor develops project control programs for performance, cost and schedule analysis and tracking. Serves as an advisor to assigned project managers, TFAs, and other site representatives to achieve on-time and on-budget goals.
Activity and resource planning and project control of Gas Compressor related projects, including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded. Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes. Quantity survey to manage the costs & performances, conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs; coordination of work effort; Valuing completed work and arranging for payments. Preparing Cost Estimates and analyzing/managing project risk for identifying and evaluating critical project’s areas that requires corrective actions. Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports from the creation of WBS with the use of project management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing and delivery up to the closure of the project.
WEIR Oil and Gas - Iraq North Rumaila District (BP, EXXON, LUKOIL projects cost and performance control) PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES To Control and monitor Gas Compressor related project’s total expenditures and performances including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded. Quantity survey to manage the costs relating to engineering projects, Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs; coordination of work effort; Valuing completed work and arranging for payments. Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes. Preparing Cost Estimates and cost risk analysis for Budget and monthly progress reports in cost reporting systems for identifying critical project’s areas that requires corrective actions for supporting Project Engineer management. Perform and manage project activity scheduling and monitoring Perform technical and commercial review of EPC tenders (subcontractor’s quotations) for the preparation of Service agreements. Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
Managing of onshore projects + $100 M assigned to Maintenance Management contract holder on yearly basis regarding multi-discipline tasks. Planning and scheduling project activities, maximizing operating profit through using planned maintenance in SAP. Issuing Call Off’s, Service Entries in SAP CO and essential records and files related. Preparing Cost Estimates for Budget and monthly Project Progress report. Estimating and forecasting costs and cost controlling by using Value of work done (VOWD). Executing the weekly work scheduling and distribution to the units concerned. Ensure EPC contractor cost reporting is structured for incorporating into overall Directorate Reporting. Monitor EPC contractor’s milestone verification to support invoice submission. Analysis of work feedback in order to improve maintenance process. Providing day to day cost engineering support and advice to the teams for CMMS issues. Review EPC contractor's costs for changes in the scope. Co-ordinate commercial administration in line with contract requirements to ensure cost reimbursement. Control and forecast PMC team’s costs and manpower. Planning and scheduling multi-discipline maintenance activities, maximising operating profit through using planned maintenance. Prepare and maintain time and cost trend statistics to support cost and man hour forecasts. Prepare final job statistics and analyse the effectiveness of cost procedures for possible improvement on future projects. Contributing project cost closing procedures. Establish a procedure to validate monthly Engineering progress. Control weekly cost progress, for all ENI Zubair Filed Operation Maintenance Department sub-contractors.
