I am responsible for managing 1:1 communication through email and SMS, which includes both ad hoc newsletters and automated customer journeys. My role involves creating and improving automated flows such as welcome programs, abandoned cart reminders, and winback campaigns using Voyado. I also develope segments to make sure the right message reaches the right customer at the right time. In addition, I handle email and SMS signups through Triggerbee, helping grow and improve our customer database. I also create and organize online store price rules, discount codes, and gift card systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning as intended.
As a Newsletter Editor at Nordic Choice Hotels, I produced, analyzed, and developed compelling ad hoc and automated newsletters, reaching a diverse audience of over 1.5 million Nordic Choice Club members and non-member subscribers. I effectively managed the end-to-end process, ensuring engaging content and impactful communication. During my time in this role, I worked across several departments, including the CRM team, Digital Sales, and as part of an independent marketing unit. This cross-functional experience allowed me to gain a deep understanding of customer data, lifecycle marketing, and sales-driven strategies, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with overarching company goals. Additionally, I actively contributed to a variety of design projects, creating visuals for both our digital channels and our hotels. I was also a part of the company Task Force during and after the pandemic, taking lead on or contributing to both sales driven and creative projects accross the company departments.
I founded and managed the online magazine SQN.no, where I built a platform that highlighted fashion, music, and cultural trends. I brought together a team of volunteer writers, created a thriving community on Instagram with over 5,000 followers, and collaborated with influencers to expand our reach. Our work included covering major events such as Oslo Fashion Week and music festivals, interviewing artists, and producing engaging content that resonated with our audience. I also established collaboration with press agencies like Vass PR and Creative Mill, as well as brands such as Kappahl, where we produced photo shoots and articles featuring the latest fashion trends.
