If you ask me who I am, I will tell you that I am an educator. I love to teach, it is what I do, it is what I am. I have been teaching for 16 years now. I have had the privilege of teaching Spanish and English to children grades K-12. I have also had the opportunity to teach Spanish language and literature courses at the university level at Arizona State University and Wayne State University. After earning my teaching certificate at Central Michigan University, I went on to get my Masters in Spanish at Arizona State University. In 2010, I moved to Spain, where I taught English at different academies. In 2014, I returned my hometown in Michigan to earn a PhD in Modern Languages. Currently, I am teaching Spanish at an elementary school in Birmingham, Michigan. Teaching, along with languages, is my passion. I strive to help my students succeed and grow as language learners and as competent global citizens.
