Sandra Jasmin is an internationally working Art Director based in Dublin, Ireland, with a strong foundation in design and visual storytelling. Holding a Dutch EU passport and Canadian permanent residency, she works internationally across Europe and North America. Originally from Germany, Sandra moved to Vancouver, Canada, in 1998, where she built her career over the past two decades. With a background in civil, landscape, and urban planning, she later completed a Master’s in Digital Media, 3D VFX and Compositing before transitioning into the film industry full-time in 2003. Her work includes productions for Netflix, Apple TV+, Disney+/Paramount, Warner Bros., Amazon, Sony Pictures, and others. As an Art Director and Supervising Art Director, Sandra collaborates closely with production designers, directors, and art departments to bring creative visions to life. She further refined her craft through art direction training at Pinewood Studios in England with Terry Ackland-Snow and Ray Stanley. Sandra is a member of the British Film Designers Guild (BFDG), BECTU, the Irish Art Directors Guild (ADGI), IATSE 891 and the DGC. Her recent credits include the Emmy-winning The Spiderwick Chronicles (2025), recognized for Outstanding Art Direction, Set Decoration & Scenic Design in a Single Camera Program. Alongside her film career, Sandra Jasmin is also an internationally recognized photographer, reinforcing her distinctive visual authorship. From 2002 to 2005, she served as President of Basic Inquiry, a nonprofit life drawing society in Vancouver, where she played a pivotal role in shaping its creative programming.
