Hi! My name is Sandhya Sathis and I am a Biology and Community and Global Health double major with a minor is Health and Society. My research interests lie in biological mechanisms, neurological disorders, and epidemiology. - Led research on water quality in NC state parks under Dr. Daniel Dickerson, calibrating in-situ devices to collect and analyze data. - Developed CAD models for ocean monitoring buoys, enhancing environmental monitoring capabilities. - Investigated the impact of socioeconomic factors on environmental health and their links to public health issues in underdeveloped populations.
