I am a Social Sciences graduate from UCL with a keen interest in psychology and social policy, particularly at the intersection of physical and mental health. My current postgraduate research focuses on identifying barriers to cancer screening and diagnosis for individuals with neurological and learning disabilities, as well as mental health conditions. I am currently completing a BPS stage 1-accredited program, MSc Health Psychology, at the UCL Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care.
Working to address barriers to cervical cancer screening and gynaecological care for women affected by FGM, applying trauma-informed and culturally competent approaches to improve engagement, reduce inequalities, and support early diagnosis.
Co-authoring qualitative social psychology research on female Afghan refugees with Dr Jessica Rea from the Social Research Institute. Our research lab has officially partnered with the Political Curiosity Lab at LSE and the PIPES lab at NYU Abu Dhabi.
Project Leader of UCL's Impact Initiative. We work with Afghan refugee women in Camden using trauma-informed approaches, teaching them conversational English and equipping them for education and employment opportunities to support their integration.
Data Analysis: Analysed and presented employee engagement survey data across regional markets to inform business unit leaders’ strategisation. Helped facilitate focus group discussions with junior and senior Media employees. Research and content creation: Conducted research on generational workplace trends and behaviours to inform leadership workshops. Assisted in content creation for internal company events and supported employer branding, including representing Publicis Groupe at PinkFest Career Fair. Employee engagement and event management: Supported several employee engagement initiatives and assisted the Talent Development team in executing a company-wide Learning Day involving workshops, talks, and panels from senior leaders and external experts.
