Counselled patients on medications, registered patients for a doctor’s consultation and assisted with the packing of medications. Dedicated to ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care with a focus on safety and minimizing waiting times. Instrumental in the daily operations of a clinic serving approximately 80 patients per day.
I gained cross-functional exposure to J&J’s market access, regulatory, and supply chain operations. My core projects included conducting a competitive landscape review of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) treatments across key APAC markets (Singapore, India, and Thailand) and presenting a Singapore-focused market access strategy for an investigational targeted therapy drug. Beyond commercial strategy, I built a foundation in regional regulatory affairs processes and assisted with on-site stocktakes at the Zuellig Pharma warehouse to understand the practicalities of pharmaceutical distribution.
Supported pharmacists in daily operations including prescription processing, medication counselling, and inventory management in a retail pharmacy setting. Gained hands-on experience in patient communication, over-the-counter (OTC) recommendations, and pharmacy operations. Assisted in documenting and resolving minor drug-related problems under supervision.
Worked on projects for PharmForce, including creating posters and other communication materials for the Development Framework for Pharmacists (DFP) and Pre-Registration. Designed and assisted with the refined version of the DFP (v2.0) that was published on 21 June 2024.
