Employed as an assistant on the 'Responsible Recreation on National Nature Reserves' project in association with Natural England.
Employed as a Common Scoter (Melanitta nigra) surveyor, working across all corners of the Flow Country UNESCO World Heritage Site to reassess the UK Common Scoter breeding population last assessed in 2007. Assisted the Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation team in the ringing of white-tailed eagle chicks in a remote area of the Scottish highlands. Additional work included a variety of species monitoring e.g. breeding bird surveys and moorland bird surveys, running on-reserve school trips for local schools, and habitat creation and management at RSPB Forsinard Flows.
