The Innovation Group’s mandate is to be a hub within RBC that partners, experiments, builds, and delivers next-generation technology solutions across the enterprise and lines of business.
Selected as an RBC Amplify Business Analyst, allowing me to collaborate with a cross-functional team consisting of two data scientists and one developer. Over the course of 4 months, our team was challenged with a complex business problem for which we were tasked to develop an innovative & sustainable solution. During this time, we had the opportunity to work closely with the SVP of Enterprise Operations & Payments, and SVP of Financial Crimes and Anti-Money Laundering. Our team developed ROBOCOP- a patent-pending, AI-solution that leverages machine learning to make sanctions compliance easier in the modern payments world.
