With multifaceted leadership experience across non-profit and public sectors and considerable exposure to the private sector, I am equipped with the skills and knowledge base to foster innovative and sound solutions to overcome complex environment and energy-related challenges. At EFTA, I provided fundamental support to the EEA EFTA States in their relations with the EU, serving as their legislative guide and advocate within environment, climate, and transport policy—with specific contributions under the circular economy, the 2030 climate and energy framework, and the clean mobility package. I facilitated/conducted discourse and negotiations on politically sensitive and technically complex files, including to enable the joint fulfilment of the Paris Agreement and common auctioning of emission allowances under the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS).
