Engineer @ Notion, previously at Slack & Atlassian. Core Maintainer of Electron, contributor to Node.js, Chromium, and more... Solving cool problems and building cool things.
As a long-time contributor and admin of the Electron project, I’ve helped shape the foundation of modern desktop apps like VS Code, Slack, Notion, 1 Password and Figma. My work spans everything from building core APIs—like dark mode support and contextBridge—to designing key security features such as Electron Fuses and ASAR Integrity. Beyond writing code, I help maintain much of Electron’s core infrastructure and work to ensure the health of the broader open source community around it. Whether through mentoring contributors, reviewing pull requests, or evolving our governance, I focus on making Electron more secure, performant, and sustainable for the long haul.
Founding member of the team responsible for Slacks runtime powering our desktop apps on Windows, macOS and Linux. Writing a combination of C++ and JS to build the future of web on the desktop. Electron powers desktop apps all over the world and this team at Slack is responsible for a lot of it's success together with our fellow Electron maintainers from across the industry. Focusing on performance, security, stability and everything else end users expect from a desktop app.
