Job Description: - Develop, review, and update Safety Management System (SMS), including but not limited to quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. • Facilitate the implementation of strategies to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness throughout the organization. • Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential workplace hazards and environmental risks. • Manage the development and implementation of mitigation strategies and control measures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment. • Manage the development and delivery of comprehensive safety training programs for employees, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in safety practices. • Lead and provide expertise in the investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental spills. • Lead the investigation team to identify root causes of incidents and develop appropriate corrective and preventive actions. • Stay updated on relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and guidelines. • Monitor and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and permits, including the preparation of necessary documentation and records. • Manage the development and execution of emergency response plans and procedures, including conducting drills and exercises to test their effectiveness. • Provide guidance and assistance during emergency situations, ensuring the safety of personnel and the environment. Offer expertise in environmental compliance activities, including air emissions, wastewater management, waste disposal, and pollution prevention. • Manage the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at minimizing the plant's environmental footprint and promoting sustainability practices.
Responsibilities: • Lead or participate in all incident/accident investigations for assigned rigs/facilities or as directed by HSE Manager. • Coordinate/Produce HSE quick share presentation on incidents/ accidents at assigned rigs/facilities within 48 hours of all Medium/High potential incidents. • Provide monthly HSE reports on their assigned rigs/facilities. Reports should summarize performance, trends and required actions to improve performance. • Provide or obtain professional advice and information on HSE matters to the OIM and Rig Manager. • Liaise weekly with Aramco Superintendents and DOECD. • Track and report on Aramco Audit findings for assigned rigs weekly and Drive rig management towards 100% compliance. • Track and report on all outstanding corrective actions for assigned rigs weekly. • Visit all assigned rigs/facilities at least twice per year. • Verify HSE compliance with practice, RMS Procedures, and regulation. • Participate in HSE and quality inspections and audits. • Audit assets to ensure Environmental Schedule-D is in place. • Accurately report first facts of incidents to OIM as soon as time permits. • Review rig accident classification and ensure correctness versus ARO classification standards. • Explore new ways on ensuring a safe working environment. • Use rig data to predict and proactively avoid incidents. • Develop the partnership culture with all stakeholders. Department Priorities: • Actively contribute to monthly HSE meetings. • Conduct HSE audits on contractors as needed or as directed. • Assist with development of learning and development solutions, as necessary. • Champion HSE initiatives. • Knowledgeable of IADC classification guidelines, ARAMCO HSERM and SWIM.

Ensure all personnel are implementing the requirements of the Management Systems of the Company as they affect Health, Safety and Environmental matters. • Conduct inspections and audits of the Company work places and report findings to Offshore Installation Manager, Rig Manager and SHE Manager. • Assist in unplanned event investigations and report finding to OIM, Rig Manager and SHE Manager. • Initiate fire and rescue crew training to ensure operational readiness for emergency response. • Develop suggestions and recommendations for safety improvements based on findings of investigations. • Coordinate and implement requirements of Safety, Health and Environmental Manual. • Produce reports as needed to document the safety performance of the rig(s) • Cooperate with other discipline heads to improve the effectiveness of Management Systems of the Company. • Take part in internal audits of the Company’s Management Systems.

Review Contractor HSE Management and performance - Strategic & Development: Develop and implement Chevron IndoAsia Business Unit Operational Budget Plan (ABOM) and Capital Expenditure Budget Plan (CEB) for OSH Department. Provide feedback and review of ABOM and CEB to OHS Manager - Prepare and execute a site specific emergency response plan and medical evacuation for new drilling and work over project.
