▪️INDIGO Education Group (EST 2011) is private equity backed by Singapore - based Tower Capital Asia (TCA), via its private equity vehicle (Tower Capital PE Fund I) which acquired a majority stake in INDIGO in 2021. ▪️Samuel Lim, Founder & Former CEO & Chairman decided to partner with TCA because of their unparalleled passion, drive and determination to create value for their partners and customers. ▪️He is the incumbent Academic Director and Group Principal at INDIGO Education Group (Est 2011), a premier tuition specialist in Secondary IP/O level & Junior College A level with more than 4500 students and seven branches in Singapore . ▪️As the Academic Director , he continues to provide mentorship for Deputy principals and Subject Heads in ensuring quality teaching and robust curriculum. Leadership renewal is a key aspect to ensure that the younger teaching staff will have good career progression in a systematic manner . He also provides advice to bridge the connection between curriculum Alignment and demand, thus empowering the staff to scale greater heights in enhancing student enrolment. ▪️As the Group Principal, his dedication to forging strong collaboration with different stake holders such as parents, students and teachers, as well as staying at the forefront of pedagogies and management excellence exemplifies his commitment to revolutionising education and empowering students for the future. He works closely with CEO in engaging prospective founders of tuition centres for Merger & Acquisition, thus contributing to business expansion. ▪️Samuel Lim is a distinguished education professional with a proven track record. His accomplishments include being a recipient of the Certificate of Honour for Inspirational Teaching, conferred by Singapore’s former President, SR Nathan. He holds a MEdu from University of Western Australia . He holds a PGDE (Dist) from National Institute of Education, NTU. He graduated from NUS with Bachelor’s of Arts ( Honours) with majors in English Language and History . ▪️Additionally, he has more than 25 years of teaching experience, having held various positions such as former Head of Faculty at HCIS, Subject Head at HCI , General Paper and History teacher at VJC. ▪️ While Samuel built his career as an entrepreneur, he remains an educator at heart. With his two children now 23 graduated with full time career and 20 pursuing SMU Law after serving his NS, he is passionate about helping parents navigate strategic planning—combining real-life experience with a deep commitment to empowering them for long-term success.
