I am a postgraduate researcher studying at the University of Southampton School of Mathematics. My research is in optimisation techniques and their application to machine learning. I have work experience with CORVID Cyber Security software team and have been involved in multiple research projects with both Warwick and Southampton universities. In my first year of undergraduate, I won a prize from the Bank of America for my maze-solving algorithm. In my third year, I was nominated by Warwick for the national WCIT university awards and achieved 2nd place. My final dissertation compared some different algorithms crucial for training neural networks. I am expected to graduate with a 1st in 2022. I’m a member of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and a journeyman with the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.
