St Andrews, Scotland, United Kingdom
I am currently reading History at the University of Oxford, where my academic interests include 13th-century Eurasia and modern British and European politics. Alongside my studies, I am involved in college and university life as President of the History Society, Treasurer and former Men's Captain of the Corpus Christi College Boat Club, Semi-Finalist in the Vice-Chancellor's Colloquium on Climate, and College Representative to the Undergraduate Historian’s Assembly. Alongside this, I have gained legal and commercial experience through placements with Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, Clifford Chance, Lloyds Banking Group, Swiss Re, and the Inner Temple, which have encouraged my interest in advocacy, analysis, and public-facing work. Outside Oxford, I also work as an actor and writer, with stage experience at The Oxford Playhouse and the Edinburgh Fringe. In time, I hope to build a career either as an academic or as a barrister. For now, I am focused on making the most of opportunities in history, law, leadership, and the arts.
