• Constructed daily trading strategies and market analysis for European and US markets to be presented to senior traders. • Traded live commodity and equity futures markets under tuition of experienced colleagues. • Produced and presented the daily US Market Briefing to the firm’s global client base.
• Produced a competitor analysis and presented this to the Global Head of UBS Prime Services. Several recommendations I made were adopted by the Prime Services Division. • Facilitated efficient operation of the Securities Lending desk by answering client calls, attending client pitches, and providing “market colour” to the desk during high-intensity periods (e.g. Italian Short Sale Ban 08/2011). • Worked in a team of 6 interns to construct a Quarterly Hedge Fund Update. The innovative piece was well received by senior staff.
