Disaster Risk analysis | Disaster Loss data | Geospatial data mining

Ispra, Lombardy, Italy

About

I bring a unique combination of know-how in data science and machine learning with domain knowledge in earthquake and structural engineering. I have experience working with building damage and loss data collected following earthquake events. I employed data science techniques and geospatial tools to mine, clean, merge, and extract useful information from spatial and non-spatial data. I applied machine learning to real-world damage and loss data to derive insights useful to engineers, insurers, risk managers. Key skills: data mining (Python), geospatial data mining and processing (ArcGIS, QGIS), data integration/merging, data analytics, machine learning (scikit-learn), data visualization (Python, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI).
