  • Founder & CEO at Olive Truck
    Aug 2017 - Present · 9 yrs

As Founder and CEO of Olive Truck, I introduced a groundbreaking approach to olive oil production in California—bringing the mill directly to the grove. Building on nearly 15 years of experience exploring rare Anatolian olive cultivars and pioneering mobile milling in Turkey, I launched Olive Truck with the vision of capturing freshness, terroir, and purity at their peak. Through a state-of-the-art mobile mill and vacuum milling technology, we press olives within hours of harvest—preserving flavor, aroma, and polyphenol richness at levels rarely seen in the industry. Key achievements: • Introduced mobile milling to California, elevating freshness and traceability in premium olive oil production. • Produced award-winning single-varietal oils from local groves, recognized in major competitions across New York, Los Angeles, Japan, and beyond. • Gained shelf presence in top-tier retailers, including Whole Foods Market (CA), Central Market (TX), Nugget Markets, Zabar’s (NYC), Market Hall Foods, Monsieur Marcel, and Corti Brothers. • Advanced the standard for ultra-premium EVOO by combining artisanal philosophy with cutting-edge technology. • Inspired a new wave of producers globally through speaking, consulting, and demonstrating how tradition and innovation can coexist. Olive Truck is more than a brand — it’s a movement dedicated to honoring the olive’s full potential, from tree to bottle, with integrity and precision

  • CEO at NAR GOURMET
    Jan 2007 - May 2019 · 12 yrs 5 mos

As Co-Founder and CEO of Nar Gourmet, I had the opportunity to help build one of Turkey’s most thoughtfully curated specialty food brands—focused on honoring the natural abundance and culinary heritage of Anatolia. Our goal was to share the richness of the region’s flavors through a product line that reflected both authenticity and quality. Together with an exceptional team: • We developed market-leading product lines including early-harvest extra virgin olive oils, artisanal preserves, and pomegranate-based condiments that found a loyal following in both domestic and international markets. • We built strong relationships with regional producers and growers, prioritizing sustainable, traceable, and ethical sourcing across all categories. • Nar Gourmet grew into a respected export brand, with our products reaching premium retail and gourmet distribution channels across the United States, South Korea, the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. • We placed a strong emphasis on elevated packaging and brand storytelling, helping position our products as both everyday essentials and meaningful gifts. • Our work extended into hospitality through "Nar Lokanta", a restaurant concept dedicated to reviving regional Anatolian and forgotten Ottoman recipes in a modern setting. Nar Gourmet was a collaborative journey that blended cultural appreciation with high-quality craftsmanship, and I’m proud to have contributed to its mission of sharing Anatolia’s culinary legacy with a wider audience.

At ARMAGGAN, I had the privilege of guiding one of Turkey’s most refined luxury houses—an atelier that sought not only to create objects of design, but to elevate and recontextualize centuries-old Istanbul & Anatolian craftsmanship for the contemporary world. As CEO and Board Member, I was responsible for orchestrating the brand’s strategic vision, curating its product universe, and assembling an exceptional multidisciplinary team that could translate cultural depth into timeless design. ARMAGGAN was conceived as more than a brand; it was a cultural manifesto. Under my leadership, we: • Implemented a holistic brand strategy, positioning ARMAGGAN as a house of timeless luxury where heritage meets innovation—on par with global maisons, but rooted in Istanbul & Anatolia’s artistic legacy. • Brought together master artisans, designers, historians, and technologists, fostering a studio culture where traditional know-how was preserved, reinterpreted, and elevated through contemporary design thinking. • Curated and launched exclusive collections of fine jewelry, hand-dyed silks, objets d’art, naturally tanned leather goods, and home décor—each piece a seamless dialogue between cultural legacy and modern elegance. • Oversaw the development of ARMAGGAN Art & Design Gallery, supporting emerging artists and expanding the brand’s cultural imprint beyond commerce into philanthropy and intellectual dialogue. • Enhanced global brand visibility and retail presence while maintaining absolute fidelity to craft, rarity, and the intangible value of cultural narrative. My time at ARMAGGAN was a rare convergence of creative vision and cultural stewardship—an opportunity to help shape a legacy brand that treated tradition not as nostalgia, but as a living, evolving language of design.

As a Board Member of BoraJet Airlines, I played an active role in shaping the strategic direction of Turkey’s pioneering regional airline—one designed to deliver a refined, boutique aviation experience. The airline sought to connect underserved destinations with exceptional comfort and service, positioning itself as a premium alternative to mainstream carriers. In my capacity on the board, I contributed to: • Strategic planning and market positioning, guiding BoraJet’s expansion into niche regional routes and helping the airline become a trusted connector between secondary cities and key hubs. • Fleet modernization efforts, including the deployment of EMBRAER E-190 aircraft—selected for their operational efficiency and superior passenger experience. • Service excellence and customer experience, with a focus on elevating every touchpoint of the journey. I led the development of a cutting-edge in-flight catering program in collaboration with Nar Gourmet, offering passengers curated, artisanal Turkish cuisine rarely seen in commercial aviation. • Brand development and differentiation, helping define BoraJet’s identity as a boutique airline—prioritizing personalized service, generous seating configurations, and detail-oriented hospitality. • Governance and oversight, contributing to long-term operational sustainability, compliance, and the airline’s reputation as a forward-thinking, quality-driven regional carrier. BoraJet represented a bold vision: to combine the efficiency of regional aviation with the elegance and warmth of private flight. I’m proud to have supported this vision through strategic, operational, and cultural contributions.
