Responsible for end-to-end machining and industrialisation of UltraFan composite fan blades, and for machining development and industrialisation of other composite components.
• Managing the manufacturability (DFX) for gas turbine engine components • Ensuring feasibility of machining, EDM, investment casting, heat treatment, coating, forming, welding (EBW, Inertia Friction) and assembly processes. • Reviewing drawings and process and material specifications • Designing and manufacturing assembly and test tools / fixtures for gas turbine engine modules • Being part of MRB and evaluating non-conformity of products • Analyzing subcontractor capabilities to meet production specifications. • Implementing and customizing Canias ERP system to align with manufacturing requirements, ensuring optimized workflows and improved operational efficiency. • Analyzing CS - APU / EASA specification requirements and managing breakdown
• Leading cost – efficient and production-oriented design • Leading NPI and supervising FAI processes • Managing 6 sigma projects for mass production • Preparing multi-axis NC programs for composite and metallic part machining • Creating workplans and workflows for manufacturing processes such as machining, polishing, EDM, welding, composite production, coating, heat treatment, assembly and tests etc. • Being part of MRB and evaluate non-conformity products • Designing, analyzing, and developing fixtures / jigs, tooling, and gages • Managing test activities • Managing SAT/FAT activities for CNC machines and process equipment • Implementing and customizing ERP - MES system to align with manufacturing requirements, ensuring optimized workflows and improved operational efficiency. • Monitoring the production in subcontractors
