• Responsible for production feasibility studies for manufacturing processes, • Represents the plant in the global project core team, • Responsible for production concept for Cost calculation in coordination with Commercial Planner (CP) generate /calculate concept, • Develops and maintains plant project plan (incl. ramp-up plan) which aligns to Master Project Plan from PM • Leads plant project team to achieve Product Development Process ( PDP )tasks, • Manages production launch and preparation activities such as trial runs, part samples, run at rate and tool and manufacturing readiness • Estimates, tracks and releases project investment costs; obtains CAPEX approval as plant level, • Identifies machinery needed for PDP project, • Determines technical specifications for fixtures and assamble lines, • Ensures completion of P–FMEA, process flow, control plan, work instruction and ensures all necessary resources (human, machine, floor space) as well as employee training • Schedules trail run of pre-Series Production (PSP) release in SAP, Responsible for production of first parts out of series production equipment • Monitors measures against deviation; develops corrective action plans as necessary, Conducts plant related project risk assessments • Building team spirit and also motivating by means of personal involvement • Active leadership of projects regarding team members, quality, meetings and costs, • Support team members for specific projects regarding technical knowledge and lesson learns • To plan team members trainings for yearly basis regarding requirement of projects.

-To coordinate requirements and advancements of projects with related internal departments and external suppliers. - Establishment of FMEA studies. - Preparation of PPAP and other necessary documents. - Tracking project timing plan with the supplier for activation casting molds and another equipment. - Managing pre-serial phases such as trial runs, full day production run (FDPR)… - Managing Engineering Change Request (ECR) and deviation approval. - Audit & Improvement of Final control, CSL1 & CSL2 area. - Putting corrective actions and their follow-up for incident and nonconformities - Participation in a process and logistic Audits: FIFO, safety & 5S. - Leading “Stop Scrap Program” for reducing a scrap rate and stabilization in casting & machining process. - Supporting to production team on TRP, QIP, PDCA, TOP3 Defects & QRQC implementation.
-Supervising foundry process. -Managing HPDC machines according to the production plan. - Managing Melting furnace according to the production plan. -Optimizing casting process. - Participation trial activities according to new product and improvement with Project department. -Training to foundry operators about quality incidents. -Coordination between relevant departments. -Supervising CSL 1 activity for Valeo products.
-Managing the customer portfolio, - Marketing research and prepare a list of potential customers, - Successfully analyzed trends of local market for understanding consumer behavior and opportunity areas, - Responding customers’ needs and requirements from the kickstart of the project till the final payment -Reporting customer demands to management, - Being the unique contact for all company activities in dedicated area., - Keeping track of the sales and payments for ongoing agreements, - Making collections from customer for cash flow. - Stock management according to customer plan.
Mert Dokum has been manufacturing gratings and covers of different sizes . Company is casting nodular cast iron/ gray cast iron for these gratings and covers - Manage and optimize process flow, - Keeping under control on main melting furnace ,
-Observed process of ERDEMIR which one is making use of liquid raw iron, scrap and alloy elements modify in line with the desired quality, the carbon amount in the liquid raw iron is reduced by means of pure oxygen blowing method. Hence, liquid raw iron is converted into liquid steel.
