I'm a landman with 15+ years of experience spanning field landwork, Land Administration, and Land Operations across some of the most active basins in the country including the Utica/Marcellus, SCOOP/STACK, Tuscaloosa Marine Shale, and the Permian Basin (TX and NM). Currently a Senior Land Negotiator in Land Operations at Oxy, I apply petroleum land and negotiation principles across the full lifecycle of a property from evaluating title and records to negotiating acquisitions and divestitures. I work closely with Engineering, Geology, Legal, Accounting, and Marketing to ensure land decisions align with broader business objectives. Prior to this role, I spent six years as a Team Lead in Oxy's Lease and Contracts group, leading interpretation of complex lease and contract provisions, keeping oil and gas contract records accurate and audit-ready, coordinating rental and royalty obligations, and supporting acquisition, divestiture, and trade projects through title and ownership analysis. I also partnered with leadership on staffing, training, and process improvements for the team. I'm a member of AAPL (#87279) and actively pursuing my CPL certification. Always glad to connect with fellow Land and energy professionals.
