I am an aspiring clinician-educator who is looking to specialize in geriatrics. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Honours Biomedical Sciences from the University of Waterloo. Currently, I am working as a Community Liaison Specialist at Home Care Assistance and a Research Assistant in the Memory, Attention, and Cognition Lab at the University of Waterloo. I am also volunteering as a Research Assistant with Dr. George Heckman and Dr. Veronique Boscart, and at the Alzheimer Society Waterloo-Wellington and Epilepsy Waterloo-Wellington.
• Connecting older adults to live-in and dementia care to help them live longer, more independent lives at home • Conducting cognitive decline prevention activities via the Cognitive Therapeutics Method, grooming, and housekeeping for seniors
• Investigating creation of false memories and effect of relatedness of new material that is presented during retrieval process • Gathering data and troubleshooting programs while running participants through studies
