I am working on a Cardiac - Telemetry floor. I have completed 32 hours of leadership with the nurse manager and charge nurses.
Acquiring clinical experience in the hospital as well as outpatient settings. Working with patients in Pediatrics, Women's Health, Critical Care, Med-surg, other step-down units, as well as out in the community. Practicing nursing skills and assessments, ensuring safety of my patients, and building confidence as my role as a future registered nurse.
Greeted customers warmly upon arrival and provided a friendly presence throughout the dining experience. Organized seating arrangements and assisted the team in clearing tables. Communicated with servers and other members of the team to ensure restaurant flow. Answered customer questions in person and over the phone and settled customer issues.
Learned and maintained proficiency in first responder skills such as First Aid and CPR. Educated patrons on safety protocols and enforced safety rules. Attentively monitored swimmers to identify distress.
Taught children ages 1-12 proper swimming techniques and water safety skills. Received the title "Employee of the Month" and promoted to "Golden Teacher." Attended monthly inservice to maintain proficiency in life-saving skills. Communicated with parents about their children's performance in the course.
