I am a data analyst with a postgraduate in Data Analytics from the London School of Economics. I enjoy working with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Excel to analyse large datasets, develop predictive models and create impactful visualisations. My experiences have allowed me to effectively leverage data to enhance decision-making and refine marketing strategies. My achievements include: analysing user behaviour and tracking project progress using SQL and Python, leading to a 15% improvement in user satisfaction and streamlined project completion rates. I developed predictive models that enhanced project planning accuracy by 33% and implemented A/B testing to boost user retention by 5%. I have improved sales data analysis to identify customer purchase patterns, resulting in a 15% sales increase. Additionally, I developed an inventory tracking system that optimised stock levels, minimised waste and performed market analysis to identify emerging trends, leading to new menu items and increased revenue. I have also completed projects that affected significant outcomes, such as NHS patient appointment cost analysis and sentiment analysis on tweets. These projects demonstrate my ability to improve data accuracy, optimise processes, and provide actionable recommendations to create real business outcomes. My passion lies in presenting data clearly and effectively to support decision-making and drive positive outcomes.
• Analyze large datasets using SQL to extract relevant information. • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations. • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
An intense 9 month, 4 course accelerator that covered the main and up to date skills needed for a data analyst in the modern market. I learnt about usage and practical implementation of different computer languages such as: SQL, Python and R. As well as developing skills and practical experience in data presentation with applications like Tableau and Excel. I took part in projects involving data presentation, wrangling and cleaning for organisations like the NHS and analysed business data for games companies and supermarkets. The course concluded with an employer project, where I was liasing with mock clients, testing my skills and sharpening my abilities in preparation for the workplace. Real work place examples of data projects understanding client's data needs through good communication was a real theme running through the entirety of the course making the need for up to date knowledge and understanding a real priority and requirement in order to succeed.
Alongside my BA in Jewish Education I worked as a teacher and teacher's assistant in order to gain classroom and workplace experience. My role as a teacher meant I was always working practically towards furthering my experience and understanding in education, working on skills like: classroom management, lesson and curriculum delivery, organisation and teamworking. During this role, as part of a close knit team of teachers, I worked to co-ordinate our teaching strategy with the aim of delivering a fun and enjoyable learning experience that focused on improving basic skills in main topics like Maths and English, whilst making sure to challeng the children's abilities to maximise their learning outcomes. My responsibilities included: teaching and assisting in the year 4 classroom, preparing lessons for each day through close liasing with my co-teacher and deciding on the best ways to deliver the days' lessons, maintaining a strong relationship with parents and senior staff through keeping them informed about classroom progress and strategies for future growth whilst making sure each child was happy. I also had to stay on top of student's academic progress by analysing weekly test results to inform future teaching and create assistance plans for those students that I noticed were struggling. I enjoyed the experiences and skills that I gained from this role and I have continued to build on them in order to further my career in analytics.
