Sam has more than 20 years of experience in private equity, cross border M&A, corporate finance, SGX listco reporting, treasury and fund raising. Sam is currently the CFO of Legend Global Logistics, a DP World company. Sam plays a pivotal role in the financial management of the group including financial reporting, budgeting and performance review, strategic investments, and support existing and new growth strategies. Sam was previously the VP Finance / deputy CFO of China Minzhong Food Corporation Limited, an internationally accredited, integrated food manufacturer which was previously listed on Singapore Stock Exchange. He was mainly taking charge of SGX reporting, reporting to parent company Indofood and handle China related deals and assignments. Sam was an Associate Director of Tembusu Partners’ investment management team responsible for deal origination, structuring and execution, and the post-acquisition management of portfolio companies. Sam was formerly in PricewaterhouseCoopers Transaction Services practice where he had served multiple PE houses and strategic investors in M&A due diligence services. Prior to Transactions Services, Sam was in the Assurance Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers where he had developed extensive audit and accounting experience across real estate, oil and gas, technology, retail sector. Sam graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) and holds an MBA from University of Manchester. He is also a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. Outside work, Sam is an active grassroot leader serving as the Vice Chairman for Namly Neighbourhood Committee under Holland-Bukit Timah Group Representation Constituency.
