As a young professional engineer, I take pride in dedicating myself to my team and working collaboratively toward shared goals. I’ve been fortunate to contribute to projects that challenge me both technically and managerially—while also aligning with my personal passions. I am committed to continuously strengthening my engineering expertise and professional skills, with a particular focus on renewable energy and sustainable engineering practices. My goal is to make meaningful contributions that support society’s evolving needs and positively impact our changing environment.
As a Solar Civil Analyst, I lead and manage analyst teams to meet construction drawing milestones from preliminary design to final engineering. I coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts to align civil grading, structural infrastructure, electrical layouts, and permitting requirements to create complete, cohesive designs. Technically, I utilize Civil 3D tools (feature lines, alignments, pipe networks, corridors, grading optimization) to carry out various design efforts throughout a project lifecycle including: site grading, erosion control, stormwater analysis, and pond design. I am comfortable creating workload plans and monitoring project budgets for demanding project portfolios. As a consultant, I also have experience collaborating with clients to formulate project scopes and execute contracts.
As a civil analyst for Kimley-Horn's telecommunications group I gained substantial experience in AutoCAD and learned a great deal about the telecom industry and the various workflows that are within the firm. Having the opportunity to work on both preliminary and final drawings, I learned about project lifecycles and timelines. As a consulting engineering firm I was also able to witness how projects were won and communicated between our engineers and clients.
As a project manager at Home Court Advantage I worked as a part of a team that was responsible for inventory, transportation, and installation of company product. More specifically, the installation of basketball and pickleball courts in both residential and commercial areas. As a startup company, each job site presented its own distinct challenges that required on-site decision making for scenarios that were new to both myself and my boss. Strong problem solving and communication skills between my co-workers, superiors, and clients was needed to finalize projects that ranged from school blacktops to the backyards of CEO's. Another important aspect of the job included implementing the client's specific needs to the operation. This led me to have a more detail oriented mind, making sure each court was specific to its buyer highlighting its own individuality and flare.
As a member of the grounds crew at Chicago Highlands Golf Club it was our top priority to maintain both the functionality and aesthetic of the golf course. This included operating various types of machinery and completing tasks on a tight schedule, ensuring a pristine course for even the earliest of golfers.
