About

I’m a creator, builder, and entrepreneur. Whether it’s in front of the camera, designing large-scale art installations, or launching a fast-growing consumer product, I thrive on bringing ideas to life. 🎭 Storytelling Through Acting & Art From growing up in rural Washington, navigating different worlds, and learning adaptability early on, storytelling became my foundation. My journey in acting took me from small-town stages to booking roles on 90210, Nip/Tuck, and award-winning films, including a Best Actor win at the Burbank International Film Festival. I've trained under Jeff Goldblum, Robert Carnegie, and Ivana Chubbuck, continuously refining my craft. Beyond acting, I’ve designed and built the Black Rock Bijou, a hidden Old West-style movie theater at Burning Man, gaining recognition in Smithsonian Magazine, CNN, and SF Gate. The goal? Create something that stuns, inspires, and makes people feel something real. 💡 Entrepreneur & Problem Solver In 2020, frustration sparked innovation. Running an Airbnb in Joshua Tree, I kept chasing pillows that blew away in the wind. Searching for a solution, I found nothing but frustrated Reddit threads. So, I built the solution myself: PillowWeights, the first weighted insert for outdoor pillows. What started as a DIY fix has turned into a high-margin, high-growth consumer brand used in luxury hotels, yachts, and designer projects. ✔️ 310% YoY growth, hitting $138,995 in 2024 revenue ✔️ 19% Amazon conversion rate (industry standard is ~10%) ✔️ 75% gross margins with 27% repeat purchase rate ✔️ Ranked #1 on Google for key product searches ✔️ 22% Retention rate 🚀 Scaling Big – Now Raising $250K PillowWeights is in a $435M market with no direct competition. We’re raising $250K SAFE ($5M cap, 15% discount) to scale DTC, expand retail, and launch new products. Whether in business, acting, or art, I believe in taking bold, calculated risks and building something that lasts. Let’s connect.

During the height of the pandemic in 2020, I angrily created the world’s first PillowWeight—a weighted insert for outdoor pillows in windy areas. Frustrated with constantly chasing pillows around at my Airbnb in Joshua Tree, I looked online for a quick fix and found nothing but emotional rants on Reddit. The pandemic provided the spare time to play around, and voila! PillowWeights can now be found in luxury hotels, yachts, and backyards all over the country.

  • Partner / Lead Design at Black Rock Bijou
    Aug 2010 - Present · 16 yrs

I’m the lead designer and builder for an art project conceived by David Neuman: an old western movie theater (akin to the one in The Last Picture Show) called the Black Rock Bijou. Against all norms and odds, we positioned the installation at the furthest, most desolate area of the Burning Man Festival, choosing not to be placed on any map or event schedule. Many leave the festival without even knowing there was a fully functional movie theater showing black-and-white classics carefully chosen to align with the theme that year. The weary wanderer often approaches the building as if it were a mirage, in complete disbelief. The Bijou has become a Burning Man staple over the years, making appearances in Smithsonian Magazine, CNN, SF Gate, and more.
